Hi, I am Karri. I live in Helsinki, Finland. I write NineSlashes to bring out the most interesting stuff in music. I’ve tried to find good music blogs, but either they’re incorporated or out of date. Or something else. So there’s really few good music blogs out there! I have an academic day job, but I am interested in more artistic stuff in my spare time. I have made a long time now my own music mainly with my guitar. I write some lyrics too every now and then. Why art? Because nothing else really interests me as much. When you’re playing guitar, time fades and suddenly you realize it’s 3am and you’re created greatest riff ever. I’ve decided to live my life to the fullest, learn more about everything, meet new people and challenge myself constantly. I’ve heard all kinds of quotes and phrases, but nothing as good as two words by Latin poet Horace. Almost everyone of us have heard them:
